Building RESTFul Web Services with Java

RESTFul web services are de-factor simpler and scalable alternative to the traditional SOAP based services. The talk will present the REST philosophy and best practices for building REST based services. In addition the presentation will deep-dive into JAX-RS (jsr-311). Combined with a live demo the expected outcome for the audience should be a good understanding how to build and consume RESTFul services using Java.
